Ama Dablam climbing Expedition is one of the beautiful mountain expeditions. This mountain lies at an altitude of 6,812 m. Ama Dablam is also Knowns as the “Matterhorn of the Himalayas”. This overwhelming ice-coated granite pyramid dominates the sky above the trekker’s trail. This climbing expedition likes like the trail to Everest Base Camp. Mt. Ama Dablam is also known as the Mother’s necklace as its long ridges on each side show the affection of Mother.
Ama Dablam was first climbed on 13 March 1960 by Mike Gill (NZ), Barry Bishop (USA), Mike Ward (UK), and Wally Romanes (NZ). They completed this trail via the Southwest Ridge. Climbers set up three camps along the ridge with camp 3 hanging below and to the right of the hanging glacier.
Mount Ama Dablam Climbing Expedition is a 30-day climbing expedition. Beginning from Kathmandu we take a flight to Lukla following Everest Trail. We take standard ascent of Ama Dablam via the South-Western ridge followed by Ward (UK), Bishop (USA), and Gill (NZ). This route offers a varied and sustained climb with a reasonable level of difficulty. Camp 1 is Moderate then it gets a little challenging up along the narrow granite ridge-till camp 2. While reaching camp 3 it's starting to get more technical. Skirting around the hanging glacier or the Dablam we cross snow arête(a sharp ridge). Finally, we cross bergschrund (a gap or crevasse at the edge) between ice cliffs and scale the summit. After scaling the summit, we return back to base camp.

Early morning we take a scenic flight to Lukla. Your Everest and Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek start here. The journey begins with an easy five-hour climb down to Monjo village.
We will climb up this day for about three hours. We will enter Sagarmatha National Park to reach Namche Bazaar. Acclimatization at Namche This is an altitude acclimatization rest day. Rest well as your trek starts getting tougher from the next day.

Hike through forests to Pangboche village. The view of majestic Mount Ama Dablam (22,349 feet) will keep you energized.
The base camp is right around the corner from Pangboche. This place is also popular among tourists as several sightings of the Yeti.
We will be heading towards Everest from this day. The village lies on the bank of the Imja River.
We will hike through snow and pass Thukla village. Later we will reach Lobuche, Lobuche lies at the foot of the Khumbu glacier. Mount Everest will be a day away.
A short three-hour trek will take you to Gorakshep, a village sitting on top of a frozen lake bed. Later we hike all the way to Everest Base Camp.
We will hike up to Kala Patthar, which lies on the southern ridge of Mount Pumori (23,494 feet). We will descend to Pheriche, a small village full of yaks.
We will start to get back now. We start with an easy downhill trek through forests, suspension bridges, and alongside mountain ridges. It will get you to Namche Bazaar.
You descend downhill to reach Lukla from Namche Bazaar.
We take a return flight to Kathmandu from Lukla. Transfer to the hotel.
