DETAILED ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival in Paro (2,350 m / 7,710 ft.)

Upon your arrival at Paro airport, your guide will meet you and transfer you to your overnight accommodation. In the late morning, you’ll receive a briefing and orientation of your Royal Enfield Motorcycle. In the afternoon, embark on an introductory ride north up the Paro Valley to the old ruined fortress of Drukgyel Dzong. This historical site witnessed Bhutanese victories over Tibetan invasions. Enjoy breathtaking views of the sacred Mt Jhomolhari. Return through Lango village, crossing the suspension bridge, and explore rural Bhutanese life. Overnight at a Paro hotel (Lunch, Dinner).

Day 2: Paro to Punakha(1500 m / 5000 ft / 115 km / 3 hours)

 Depart Paro for Punakha Valley. En-route, pass SemtokhaDzong and ascend to Dochu La to view the 108 Stupas. Visit Chimi Lhakhang and take an excursion to the traditional village of Talo. Overnight at a Punakha hotel (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 3: Punakha to Trongsa (2200 m / 7215 ft / 134 km / 3.5 hours)

Head southwards to Trongsa, passing WangduePhodrangDzong and the village of Rinchengang. Cross Pele La (Pass) through Black Mountains National Park, known for yaks. Explore Trongsa Dzong and visit the Tower of Trongsa Museum. Overnight at a Trongsa hotel (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 4: Trongsa – Bumthang (2800 m / 9185 ft / 78 km / 2 hours)

Continue eastwards to Bumthang via Yotu La (pass). Visit Wangdicholing Palace, Jambay& Kurjey Lhakhangs, and explore Chamkhar town. Overnight at a Bumthang hotel (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 5: Excursion to Ura Valley or Leisure in Choekhor Valley

Choose between an excursion to Ura Valley or leisure in Choekhor Valley. Visit Tamshing Monastery or enjoy a hike in the region. Explore Ura village on the return ride, and optionally detour to Mebartsho (Burning Lake). Overnight at a Bumthang hotel (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 6: Bumthang – Phobjikha (2800 m / 9185 ft / 154 km / 4 hours)

Transfer westwards to Phobjikha Valley, stopping in Chhume Valley for Bhutanese textiles. Hike the Gangtey Nature Trail upon arrival. Overnight at a Phobjikha hotel (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 7: Phobjikha to Thimphu (2300 m / 7656ft / 124 km /  4 hours approx)

Drive to Thimphu via Punakha. Visit Punakha Dzong and stop at the Golden Buddha. Explore Thimphu by bike and on foot, visiting TashichhoDzong and the Royal Textile Academy. Overnight at a Thimphu hotel (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 8: Thimphu – Chele La (3988m) – Paro (80 km / 3 hours)

Ride to Chelila pass, the highest motorable road in Bhutan. Stop at Kila Gompa nunnery and enjoy local sightseeing in Paro. Overnight at a Paro hotel (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 9: Paro Taktsang Hike

Embark on a hike to Taktsang Monastery, perched on a cliff. Visit TaktsangJakhang and experience the legend of Guru Padmasambhava. Overnight at a Paro hotel (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast at your hotel, your driver will drive you to the airport for your onward journey.
