Itinerary

Day 01 – Arrive Kathmandu (1,350 m)

Upon arrival meet the representative waiting at the airport and transfer to the hotel. A welcome drink is served and a room is assigned.

Later meet the riding crew along with the Royal Enfield Motorcycle. Furthermore, a short briefing about the safety, proper speed, and traffic conditions about Nepal roads. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02 – Kathmandu to Bandipur (130kms, 6 hours)

Teaching someone to ride a motorbike in Kathmandu would be as futile as teaching a monkey to juggle eggs. Once you’re out of Kathmandu, normalcy returns and you no longer need to fear for your life at every bend. The Kathmandu-Pokhara highway is one of the busiest in the country but still makes for a pleasant ride. With the roads being quite windy and steep, the average speed is barely 30kmph. But then a motorbike trip is never about the destination.

A tiny nondescript road leaves the highway towards Bandipur. The air clears up and civilization makes way for the trees, valleys and mountains. You’ve now entered the surreal world of Bandipur, far removed from the chaos of modern day living. Old Newari buildings line the paved streets and the Himalayas serve as a backdrop between adjacent buildings. The town centre is off limits to all traffic (probably because of the steps on the streets) and so peace reigns supreme. Stay overnight in Bandipur.

Day 03 – Bandipur to Pokhara (80kms, 4 hours)

Leaving the perfect little town of Bandipur is difficult. But the fact that Pokhara is the next destination eases the pain. The bike ride to Pokhara is relatively easy provided you don’t puncture your tire in the middle of nowhere. Fixing a punctured tire in Nepal is a bigger ordeal than it should be but that’s all part of the game. Powerful gusts of wind over the last 5kms welcome you to Pokhara.

Pokhara’s location on the banks of a green lake with the snow capped peaks of the Himalayas in the background probably accounts for its popularity but nothing will prepare you for how picturesque this town is. If you’ve got your hiking boots, then this is the last chance to indulge in the little comforts of life before roughing it out in the mountains. If you don’t, then buy some wine, rent a tiny little boat, row to the middle of the lake and drink in this spectacular mountain town. Stay overnight in Pokhara.

Day 04 – Ride Pokhara to Kalopani (2,005 m) (129 Km) 6 Hrs

Today we start early towards Beni (70 KM) on the Baglung Highway. This section of the drive provides fantastic mountain vistas, picturesque terraced farmlands. From here, the road is unpaved and dusty with potholes in several places. Unpaved, graveled rough road poses a real challenge for drivers and makes it more difficult with the occasional river crossings. Ascend gradually through the Kali Gandiki gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. Stay overnight in Kalopani.

Day 05 – Ride Kalopani to Muktinath (3,750 m) (50 Km) 03:00 Hrs.

After an early breakfast, set out on the trail by fantastic views of the Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Tukuche (6920m), and Nilgiri (7061m). As we pass between the Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna Mountain range, a dramatic change in vegetation is witnessed from green forests, to dry arid desert. Continue the ride towards Jomsom through the dusty graveled “off” road passing smaller settlements and apple orchards. From here continue ride passing through the village on the desert plateau brings us to Muktinath “Place of Salvation”. Stay overnight in Muktinath.

Day 06 – Ride Muktinath to Tatopani (3,210 m) (72 Km) 03:30 Hrs.

After a leisurely breakfast ride down to Kagbeni (2800 m) which is the gateway to Upper Mustang. From Kagbeni continue to Jomsom (approx. 11 Km) but we continue further 25 kilometers, about 1 ½ hour slow ride to Kalopani via Marpha Village till we reach tatopani” Natural Hot Spring” roughest section of the journey.  Stay overnight in Tatopani.

Day 07 – Ride Tatopani to Pokhara (827 m) (106 Km) 04:00 Hrs.

Early Morning take a breakfast and continue riding backtto the settlement areas with black topped roads. We make it back to meet the main highway at Maldhunga and then continue on the metalled road to Pokhara which is reached in about 2 ½ hours. Upon arrival at Pokhara we check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax or explore around the Lakeside Bazaar. Stay overnight in Pokhara.

Day 08 – Free day in Pokhara

We have a free day to relax and explore around the lake bazaar for souvenir shopping or sightseeing tour. Meet for lunch at the hotel for lunch. Adventure activities like paragliding, bungee, ultralight, zipflyer etc. can be performed in Pokhara. Stay overnight in Pokhara

Day 09 – Ride from Pokhara to Lumbini (203 km) 7 hours (150m)

We will start the day with a ride to the Hill city of Tasen after breakfast in Pokhara. This drive follows a beautiful hill highway pass many small and big settlements to this wonderful town. We will have a great time here, exploring the major attractions around this culturally vibrant town. Starting the tour with Mulgate (Tallest gate in Nepal), we will pay a quick visit to the ruins of ancient durbar here.

Similarly, SitalParti, Bhagawat Temple, Taksar, Tundikhel, Karuwa, and Dhaka Factories alongside Shreenagar Hill are the sites we will visit here. From here, we will continue our ride to Lumbini of about 1.5 hours. (Optional visit Sunauli (Nepal-India) border before hotel check in.)

Upon arrival at Lumbini check in to the hotel and rest of the day is free to relax and explore around Lumbini.

Day 10 – Ride to Chitwan National Park – 200 km (7 hrs)

You will see extremely decent landscapes, waterways, ranch land, paddy field, run of the mill houses and way of life of the general population while in transit to Chitwan. The whole distance you will slip down along the twisting street along the bank of the Trishuli River. Subsequent to registering with the lodging and getting invigorated you will be informed about full nature programs by our naturalist control.

At that point we head on for exercises. There will be a guided town walk and a stroll on the bank of the Rapti River to watch the enchanting nightfall sees in the sub-tropical wilderness. At the night, supper with social programs by ethnic innate individuals with their stick move and inborn drums. Medium-term at Chitwan. Stay overnight in Chitwan.

Day 11 – Ride to Kathmandu (180kms, 8hours)

After breakfast we depart to Kathmandu passing through scenic fields and villages along the way to the ancient capital of the Himalaya. We end our adventure motorcycle tour through Nepal. The rest of the time is available to explore the city on your own, search for souvenirs for friends and loved ones back home, and relax and enjoy yourself after the remote, high elevation trekking. In the evening we will enjoy a farewell dinner together. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

You’ll see new highs, experience a few lows, learn to strap a bag onto the guard rail with your eyes closed, and at the end of it all, you’ll walk away with some amazing memories.

Day 12 – Kathmandu (Tour City) Visit:

Today you can enjoy the visit to Kathmandu’s historical sites with our tour guide and visit historical Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square with a tour guide by private van. Stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
