Which is the best season to travel to Nepal?

The best time for Climbing & trekking in Nepal is during spring and autumn. Spring lies from February through May and autumn from September through November.  Warm days and clear skies make this season favorable for trekking. Through December and January is also ideal for trekking, the air can be quite cold at high altitudes. During this period, trekking is possible in the rain-shadow regions of Nepal. Most of them lie in the north of the Himalayas – like Mustang, Dolpa, Humla, and Jumla-Rara Lake.

What type of Insurance should I make for Nepal Travel?

Be sure to make comprehensive travel and medical insurance. This insurance should cover natural and medical emergency rescue. Most of the rescue is from a helicopter as no transport is available on trekking trails. The policy should cover theft, loss & medical treatment including emergency evacuation.

How much is the National Park Fee?

You need to pay a National park fee as per the rules of the Nepal Government.  The fee is payable at the park entrance. Trekkers going to the Annapurna Region must pay a fee of RS. 2000 (RS 100 for SAARC nationals) which is payable only in Kathmandu or in Pokhara
