Itinerary

 

1 Day: – Manali to Sarhan( 230km )

Night stay at top of hill along with oldest Hindu temple, Sarahan is a beautifully located township amid mountains with Shrikhand Mahadev peak (5155m) looming as a backdrop. Overnight stay in Hotel.

2 Day  :- Sarhan to Kalpa (110km)
Today after Breakfast we start early enjoy the ride along with Satluj river reached at RecangPeo before Office timing to apply ILP( inner line permit) after clear all paper work enjoy the kinner kalash mountain view with beer for Hotel roof top.

 
 

 

3 Day:- Kalpa to Taboo (160km)

After breakfast drive to Tabo(3200 m),  (6/7 hrs drive) via Ribba, Moron and Tila monastries. Tabo monastery is an ordinary mud structure but on the inside it has frescoes which earned Tabo the epithet of “Ajanta of Himalayas”. Overnight in tents.

 

4 Day:- Tabo – Dankar - key – Kaza - Losar ( 190km )
After breakfast drive to Kaza (3450 m), via Dankar monasteries visit & drive to Ki monastery (4116 m), . The monastery with rare paintings and scriptures is the oldest and biggest in Spiti.   Overnight in stay at Small village at nice Home stay Losar.

 

 

5 Day :-Losar – Chander tal Lake – Sisshu (170km)
After breakfast Going to Sissu. After cross Kunzum pass (4551 m) and Chandratal (4270 m).  After lake exit hard rout of Spiti valley with crossing many water crossing and water fall view on green high mountains ,On entering the Lahaul valley we see a distinct change with the Hindu influence being replaced with the Buddhist religion. Continue drive to Jispa via Keylong. 7-8 hours drive Dinner and overnight in Guest House

 

6 Day :- Keylong Rest and relax day 

 

7 Day :-Sissu to Sarchu (150 Kms)
Leisurely drive over the scenic Baralacha Pass (4880 M). Plenty of stops to capture the scenic grandeur of this majestic landscape dotted with snow capped peaks and high altitude lakes. After crossing the pass drop down to the vast Sarchu plains ..Dinner and overnight in tents.

 
 

8 Day :- Sarchu to Tso-Moriri (220 kms)

Post breakfast drive to Tso- Morrari Lake. Through 21 Gata Loops, then Nakeela and Lachangla Passes (16,617 ft), we reach at tent city Pang and then through Skyangchu Thang (The biggest and highest Plateau on Earth on, a Stretch of 42 Kms) we drive to Tsomoriri. The Lake is located at 14,000 ft. near a small village of Korzok. On the way we cross Polokangla and Namchick La passes before we reach Korzok Village. Upon arrival we check in at our camp.

 
 
 

9 Day :-Tso-Moriri to Leh, via Mahe Bridge & Upshi (210 kms)
Post Breakfast we drive to Leh, on the way we visit Chumathang Hot Springs and Thatsangkaru Lake. Drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel for overnight.

 

 

10 Day :- Excursion to Leh Monasteries
After breakfast drive up along the scenic Indus valley. Enroute stop over to visit the famous Shey, Thiksey and Hemis monasteries. Packed lunch enroute.

Shey Palace & Monastery:This summer palace of the erstwhile King of Leh set upon a hill. The monastery itself has a 7.5 meter high, copper statue of a sitting Buddha, wrought in gold. This is the largest of it’s kind in the world.

Thiksey Monastery:19 Kms from Leh, Thiksey is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas of Ladakh. The Thiksey monastery provides a panoramic view of the green Indus Valley from its vantage point atop a hill. has chambers full of statues, Stupas and colorful Tankhas.

Hemis Monastery:Situated just off the Manali-Leh Highway, Ladakh’s biggest and wealthiest monastery is situated on the Leh – Manali road. It’s popularity stems from the annual festival held here in summer. The festival coincides with Guru Padma Sambhava’s (Buddha) birthday. It contains quite a few statues in gold and Stupas decorated with precious stones. It has a superb collection of Tankhas, including one which is supposed to be the largest in existence and is exhibited only once every 12 years.

 

11 Day : Leh – kardungla pass - Leh (90 kms)
The summit! It’s time for the world’s highest motorable road, the Khardungla Pass (18,380 ft!!). Later, and we’ll return to our headquarters in Leh. The afternoon is free to relax or shop, or visit the Shanti Stupa at sunset. Dinner at the best Tibetan place.

 

12 Day : Leh To Drass (280 Kms)
After Breakfast leave for Kargil, enroute visit Rizong, Moon landscape, Lamayuru (Oldest Monastery in Ladakh) and Giant Maitreya at Mulbekh. Arrive at Kargil by evening and drive till Drass, the second coldest inhabited Place on earth and you can have spectacular view of Kargil War famous Peaks Tiger Hill and other Peaks.  with Overnight stay at Hotel.



13 Day : Drass To Patanitop via ( Srinagar) (330 Kms).

After breakfast drive through cross Zozila pass reached Srinagar enjoy lunch at Lake side, After Lunch ride to Jawar Tunnel, perhaps the 3km longest tunnel in India was constructed by Germans in Late 1950. Enjoy the view of Karakoram range of mountains and Pine forest of Patnitop,, and overnight stay at hotel

 
 



14  Day : Patanitop To Dharmsala  (250 Kms) 
Early breakfast and we start our journey to Dharmshala Thown for Dali Lama Reached at Evening with relax visit of town, fresh n up, after visit Golden Temple.Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

 



 


15 Day ; Dharmshala to Billing (Paragliding point) then Manali 280km

Today we stay at Tea garden resort with Enjoy world 2nd Paragliding point along great para fly .after Lunch and Fly we ride till Manali more 180 km.
